Dump Type is a multidisciplinary arts collective founded in 1984 in Kyoto, Japan. Known for being made up of multidisciplinary artists exploring the fusion of dance, theatre, music, video and the visual arts, the collective claims to be free of any hierarchy. The challenge was to convey the energy of the studio, renowned for its contribution to contemporary art, through significant editorial choices.
