Following an in-depth study of a 17th century italic typeface used on the page, the aim was to produce a revival of this typeface. Drawn from a multilingual dictionary, the challenge was to redesign this damaged typeface, preserving its style while bringing it up to date so that it could be used as a font. This typeface is still a “work in progress". The regular version is designed by Pauline Rabelle.
