“Solar” is a WIP typeface that explores white space as a brightening tool, questioning how resistance to overexposure and solarization might help us understand the brain’s perception of movement through contrast in light. It oscillates between light and dark areas, creating a moment of suspension between doubt and recognition. The typeface is developed in up to five weights, from wide to condensed, imagining light as an active agent of differentiation that shapes the font.
